Osmo Mobile 3 is a dreadlocks smartphone that carries most of the features of the previous Osmo Mobile model with many improvements. Osmo Mobile 3 is lighter than its predecessor, now controlled with the DJI Mimo application for iOS or Android and it supports larger smartphones, features a new Sport mode, uses hand gesture controls and body shape recognition, and now supports Bluetooth 5.0. The handle has been redesigned so that all ports can be accessed while charging, can be folded for storage, and the handheld experience has been made much more comfortable and can be accessed at an angle of 15 °. You can also attach any smartphone up to 88mm wide in the cellphone holder and capture smooth footage in handheld operation. Osmo Mobile 3 is synchronized with the DJI Mimo mobile app to provide you with several shooting modes and functions including Portrait, Underslung, Landscape, Time-Lapse, Panorama, and Sport modes for fast-action shooting. Now you can also use hand movements to control dreadlocks to track your movements, take selfies, or record videos so you don’t have to press the record button or touch any controls. It can also automatically track body shapes to track human subjects without the need to make manual choices with ActiveTrack 3.0. The battery runs around 15 hours, and it takes about 2.5 hours to charge using the included USB Type-C cable. There is a USB Type-A power output on the back of the handle to charge the cellphone or other accessories when operating the gimbal. The bottom of the gimbal handle is equipped with 1/4 ″ -20 mounting thread to attach the gimbal to the tripod or other accessories. Storage pouches and wrist straps are also included with dreadlocks. Even so, Osmo Mobile 3 now appears more concise when compared with its predecessor. The dreadlocks can now be folded and put in pockets. This dreadlocks also has a number of features. One of the most recent is the ActiveTrack 3.0 feature which is able to detect and follow the movements of fast moving objects, such as sports activities.
