From it xbox site, large picture and video with large font “4K feel true power”. xbox one x is s series successor. The main feature is 4K capability. It has official name “Project Scorpio”. x box x has a lot of feature to support that 4K. Microsoft say and promised it will be most powerful console ever.
the most powerful console ever in $500
in another one Playstation with PS4 can be buy $400 but can be defeated easily. xbox one x can be define like DIY gaming PC. It manages to push so many frames while running quietly and offering the best price-to-performance ratio of any gaming hardware today.
4K era begin, x box one x coming !
amazon, ebay and another e-commerce platform has been open preorder for it.
Now, though, it’s a for-real console you can buy. As soon as possible testing it out in Indonesia, where it launched instead of the X Box one X, although both the X Box One X and the X Box One S will eventually be available.
The 8-core Custom AMD CPU is clocked at 2.3GHz to bring enhanced AI, real world detail, and smoother interactions to your gaming. The 8-core based on the AMD Jaguar microarchitecture , and they achieved that with a frequency bump from 1.75 GHz to 2.3 GHz. fast enough ?
from my opinion i think it wil be better if installed by ryzen architecture but if you see the limit of timeline it will be different. Jaguar is also going to take up less of their die space as well, which is important when you are limited by your total die budget, and as we saw with the Xbox One’s eSRAM, taking die space for non-GPU functions can be a problem.
in other support from microsoft microsoft promised to add some feature with that. CPU cores implement a page descriptor cache of nested translations, which is some low level optimization to the cache that allows Microsoft to offset some of the remaining overhead that comes from their use of virtual machines by better caching the VM’s memory operations.
12GB GDDR5 of graphic memory clocked at 6.8 Gbps add speed and power to game performance to enable bigger worlds, further horizons, and quicker load times. The Xbox One X has twelve 32-bit channels, resulting in a 384-bit memory interface. Coupled with the 6.8 Gbps data rate, that provides 326 GB/s of system memory bandwidth. 12GB RAM devide 9 GB of RAM is available to developers, with 3 GB reserved for the system to handle multi-tasking.
A 6 Teraflop GPU with 40 GPU Compute Units at 1172 MHz enables 4K environments and characters to become more realistic than ever, with more detail and smoother animations. GPU that’s roughly based on AMD’s GCN 4 (Polaris) architecture. X Box X has 40 compute units, 2560 stream processors, and 32 ROPs. For comparison, an AMD Radeon RX 480 has 36 CUs, so the this console offers 11% more compute hardware than the RX 480. Compared to the PlayStation 4 Pro, the Xbox One X offers about 43% more shader throughput.
Put another way, this console features a whopping 6 teraflops of power, just a bit under the 6.17 tflops you’d get from a Radeon RX 580. PlayStation 4 Pro (4.2 tflops), which is its nearest console rival, and it’s miles ahead of the standard Xbox One S (1.4 tflops) and the standard PlayStation 4 (1.84 tflops). It even outpaces AMD’s Radeon RX 570 (5.1 tflops) and RX 560 GPUs (2.6 tflops).
Game graphics are faster and more detailed with 326 GB/sec memory bandwidth, to keep your gaming momentum flowing.
Microsoft announced new features coming to the Xbox One’s operating system tied to the Xbox One X’s November release. One set allows easy transfers of account settings, games, and apps from existing Xbox One consoles to the Xbox One X. Settings can be copied to an external hard drive, while games and apps can be backed up to an external drive or copied between consoles over your local home network.
The Dashboard also received updates that include a revamped Guide with a horizontal layout for tabs, and a new home screen with “content blocks” that let you pin favorite people, games, and clubs. Microsoft also will make a Light mode (a theme with white menu backgrounds) available.
